Dual-Channel Verification: ClickSend TTS Voice + Email Code

This automation delivers a two-step identity check that combines a text-to-speech phone call with a follow-up email code—ideal for secure sign-ups, high-risk actions, or KYC flows. Users submit a form with phone, language, voice, and email; the system places a ClickSend voice call that reads a verification code, then asks the user to confirm it. On success, it sends a second code via SMTP email and verifies that as well, completing a dual-factor check with clear success/failure paths. Supported languages are selectable (e.g., EN/IT/DE/ES/FR and more), and machine detection helps avoid voicemail traps.
How it works
-
Form capture: Hosted form collects
To(phone),Voice(male/female),Lang(locale codes),Email, and name. -
Voice step: A code is prepared (spaced for clarity), then an authenticated HTTP request triggers ClickSend Voice to call and read “Your verification number is …” with selected voice and language; machine detection is enabled.
-
Voice check: User enters the received code; the flow validates it and branches to success/fail.
-
Email step: On voice success, a second code is generated and sent via SMTP email; the user inputs it for verification.
-
Completion: Success and failure screens finalize the experience for each step.
Why it’s a game-changer
-
Stronger trust & fraud reduction: Two independent channels (voice + email) drastically cut false accounts and risky actions.
-
Faster onboarding: Automated calls/emails replace manual checks and back-and-forth support.
-
Lower error rate: Deterministic comparisons, language selection, and machine detection reduce mis-verifications.
-
Easy to scale: Works with straightforward form inputs; adapt voice, language, and thresholds as policies evolve.
Ideal for SaaS sign-ups, marketplace seller onboarding, high-value transaction approvals, account recovery, and internal IT verification flows.
Manual identity checks and re-sends routinely cost teams hours weekly and expose them to fraud and chargeback risks. This build delivers a ready-to-run, dual-channel verification gate with language options, machine detection, secure HTTP auth to a telephony provider, deterministic branching, and success/failure UX—reducing support load, accelerating onboarding, and improving compliance outcomes. For a modest-scale product funnel preventing just a handful of fraudulent activations or speeding hundreds of verifications per month, the ROI typically lands within a few months.
